Veronika Metonidze
Director, Event Management

Veronika is in charge of fundraising programs. As Georgian and US attorney, she brings over 20 years of experience in International Law and International Development. Prior joining the Georgian Center, Veronika was a founder of the online forum “GeorgianDC” that was organizing the annual diaspora events in support of various charitable initiatives.

Veronika moved to the United States in 2005, where she continued to advance in her professional career and accrue the licenses to practice a law in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She consulted on number of international projects led by World Bank, IMF, EBRD, USAID, IOM and other international organizations. Veronika earned her L.L.M degree in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law and studied European Law at Sorbonne University, Paris, France.

Veronika is committed to promote the Georgian culture, language and heritage. She loves spending time with her two daughters and enjoys all forms of dance, reading, and nature.
